For a long time now, we’ve wanted to bring to birth a new African hero, an African Indiana Jones, who embodied what the world could learn from Africa, as opposed to what the West often foisted upon the continent.

But there was a problem. We wanted to get straight to the heart of what was important – what represented a place of heroism and good – to African boys. But we weren’t teenage African boys.

So we decided to have some fun.
