Ms. Moore is a cultural activist who produces entertainment projects, unearthed from across the globe, with the aim of humanizing different cultures through entertainment, and reinvesting back into local communities.
In the last three decades, Moore has produced or been involved in the production of dozens of theatrical productions, television programs, and feature films. She is well-known for producing the global hit series, The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency. Through Moore’s insistence and work with the Republic of Botswana, the production was shot on location in Botswana.
We [The local people of Botswana] call Amy, “Mma Pula,” which means “mother rain.” She is our rain maker. Have you seen what happens in the desert when it rains, and all of the flowers come out? It changes everything. She changes everything.
